Roulette has been a big source of entertainment with a hint of glamour and mystery since the 17th Century. The game has gained its popularity from the simplicity of the rules and because it is rather easy to play. For serious gamblers Roulette offers a surprising level of depth. At Indio Casino we’ve created a detailed guide on how to play Roulette to help you out whether you are a new player or just in need of improvement.

Online Roulette is a game of chance, however understanding the odds related to the game can help you make an informed decision about how to go about your play. A game of European Roulette has 37 numbered slots – the numbers go from 1 through to 36 plus a single 0. The odds of winning is thus 1/37 and an overall house edge of 2.7%.

American Roulette on the other hand offers 38 numbered slots that go from 1 through to 36 and offer a 0 and a 00. You therefore have a 1/38 chance of winning and an overall house edge of 5.26%. Your odds are affected by the choices you make in the game.

To begin a game of online Roulette you must first place your bet. You normally get to place 10 bets in a standard game of European Roulette and they can be divided into inside and outside bets.

French and European Roulette offers the same offs of winning but French Roulette lets you benefit from the extra “La Partage” rule. Mini Roulette offers less betting options and also has less numbers to bet on. It also offers the highest of odds of winning compared to other Roulette games.
